From Blog Post to Scrapbook Page

Here’s how I used that photo I posted on Thursday on a scrapbook page.

Lately

(Everything from the Studio Calico December kit.)

I changed the journaling just a bit to fit in the space I used, but it was essentially a case of copy and paste. I considered actually copying and pasting the journaling from the blog and printing it out, but I really do prefer to use handwriting on my pages. Especially my everyday pages like this one.

In a way the blog post was a “place holder” for the scrapbook page I knew I wanted to do about the photo. This way I was able to quickly record the memory (plus share it with you), to come back to when I had the time to make the page. In this case it was a week from taking the photo, to blogging about it to making the page.

I plan to do many more everyday pages like this. Photo, a few embellishments and journaling. Scrapbook kits are perfect for this sort of project since I don’t have to think too much about what to use.

How do you get everyday pages scrapped?
