Colour Me Pink. Or Not!

Let me begin this post with a disclaimer. I am not a huge lover of pink. I never was as a little girl, and that hasn't changed much as an adult. I also tend to get rather annoyed when manufacturers think they need to make tools or supplies pink for women. But that's another rant for another day. However, I can totally get behind pink in nature, as well as some uncommonly coloured objects. I would happily fill my house with pink peonies, and I definitely want to get some of that pink sand!

1. I'm kicking myself for never going to this beautiful pink sand beach in Barbuda when I had the opportunity.

2. I really love this Pyrex dish collection on Etsy 

3. Peonies! I am getting my fill of these online, since out of my five bushes only one has a single bud this year. I'll have to hit the farmer's market this weekend.

4. I seem to have a thing for coloured vintage bicycles.  I'd love to visit that village too.

5. A pink Vespa? Why not? Can't you just imagine yourself scooting around Rome, on this with sunglasses and your scarf blowing in the wind?

7. I'd probably never do this, but I'd definitely take a photo if I saw a house with a pink dooor and shutters.

8. Stef from Girl, Inspired had a vintage typewriter painted pink. I love this idea!

9. Spring blooms show off pink better than anything else, I swear.

 

So pink: yay or nay? I admit it definitely has its place.
