Fall is Giving Spring a Run for its Money!
At least, if every Fall day was like the one we had last Thursday, it would definitely be edging Spring out as my favourite season.
After over a week of rain, and grey, and clouds and wind, the sky cleared and the sun came out. Temperatures rose to at least 20 degrees celsius. It was heaven. I'm happy I had the Nokia Lumia 925 with me that day! Especially since I cannot find the battery charger for my DSLR. There's no way my regular smart phone could have captured this day!
Even the dry leaves at my feet seemed beyond beautiful
And it goes without saying that the brightly coloured leaves on the trees are like nature's painting.
As we neared home the sun began to set, and Kieran and I admired all the colours, and the dot of the crescent moon.
I saw this quotation today and it is quite apt.
"Memory is the space in which a thing happens for a second time." — Paul Auster
I'm really glad I have these photos to aid my memory!
