Callaloo Soup Christmas | Simple & Natural Decor

I mentioned that Kieran and I started some decorating this week. I am taking it slow and easy this year, and going simple and natural. Here’s a peek at one corner I finished up today

The star of the show, is that rose hip “bouquet”. I have been seeing them everwhere on my walks since Autumn, and knew that they had to be an integral part of my Winter decor. I’m saying Winter, because I intend to leave them up through February! Everything else was either foraged, or dug out of boxes.

Those are chestnuts in the small bowl. We live in the biggest chestnut producing region of France, so they had to be included.

I can’t get over those rose hips though.

I got a bunch more today and have more plans for them.
